The Miankaleh Wildlife Refuge, located in northern Iran, is one of the country’s most precious natural habitats. As a UNESCO-designated biosphere reserve, it plays a vital role in maintaining biodiversity and ecological balance, serving annually as a sanctuary for thousands of migratory birds from across the globe.

In line with efforts to protect this invaluable ecosystem, Amadeh Laziz Company undertook a series of meaningful initiatives in 2021 to support the Miankaleh region and its dedicated rangers. These actions, carried out in collaboration with the Dr. Mostafa Naraghi Charity Foundation, included:

• Supplying care packages with ready-to-eat Amadeh Laziz products to rangers stationed in the area;

• Funding and launching a ranger patrol system to enhance security and surveillance across the protected region;

• Equipping environmental officers with professional cameras to aid in wildlife census and documentation efforts;

• Promoting the natural beauty of Miankaleh through the company’s media channels to raise public awareness about the refuge’s ecological significance.
