On the occasion of National Teachers’ Day and Saadi Cultural Week, a commemorative ceremony was held at the University of Applied Science at Kahrizak Charity Foundation, in collaboration with the Bureau of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Rey County.

Held in the Dr. Naraghi Auditorium, the event brought together university professors, students, artists, and cultural officials to honor the vital role of educators and celebrate the enduring legacy of Saadi Shirazi — the master of Persian wisdom and literature.
The ceremony featured speeches by university and charity officials, artistic performances, poetry readings, and a tribute to faculty members and cultural contributors. Mr. Morteza Alavi, Head of the Bureau of Culture and Islamic Guidance, emphasized the importance of such cultural initiatives and commended the university’s efforts in enriching the region’s intellectual and artistic landscape.
Established in 2017 by the Dr. Mostafa Naraghi Charity Foundation, the University of Applied Science at Kahrizak remains the first and only academic institution in Iran dedicated to educating professionals in elderly and disability care — a mission that continues to grow with over 300 graduates and more than 350 active students.
